Out with Johan’s Camaro and directly in with a new customers car! A really nice Nova 72 that needs some more tubing in the roll cage.

Late night work, and Johan only makes everything harder for me! 🙂
On ground in ride height!
The Camaro is back on the ground on blocks and adjusted to the ride height I want to have on it.
Rear axle adjusted to ride height.
Measuring the 4-link plates so I can put the info into my computer and find out what possible adjustments i got for the instant centerline settings.
With the rear axle in the right position I could get the new upper shock mounts in place.
And the lower mounts also!
More work done.
Support for the steering column and also one behind the back on the drivers seat in place.
New parts on the Camaro
More work, time to get the things around the rear axle done!
Repair / fabrication new sway bar.
Done!
Fabricating new 4-link bars and getting the Camaro new heim joints, always got parts like this in stock!

Old rear axle housing.

New rear housing in place, must do some changes to the wishbone and new lower 4-link bars.
Also need to make new upper shock mounts.

Sometimes things don’t work the way they supposed to…!
A couple of hours and the axle in the back housing is removed… The bearing was like welded to the axle, you learn new things all the time! 🙂
